why isn’t there a 10k this year ?
After much consideration, we have eliminated the 10-K run. Rather than run two road races simultaneously, we have decided to focus on a high quality 5-K run and walk.
Going to a single road race will eliminate the inconvenience to motorists trying to get through town. The burden on our law enforcement officers will be reduced. And most importantly, the safety of runners and volunteers will be enhanced.
I think because of this years changes this will be a high quality event.

Please correct the spelling of the 2008 winner name as Ryan Millar not Miller and correct the 2010 5K winner as Bryce Millar not Clayton Whittemore.
We’re provided the race results from the past and have to confirm if these corrections are in fact valid. We’ll do that as soon as we can and change accordingly. Thanks for running.
Congratulations to the KAC Race Committee. Very well done!! Very well organized this year – a huge improvement!! Can’t wait for next year!!
Great job Moe Lalonde and the entire race Committee for putting on such a high quality event. One race is plenty if it is done properly. Chip Timing, accurate course, tech shirts and the entertainment in the park make for a perfect setting for the race. The event slipped in the last few years, it is now back on track!
