Adult Fitness Classes

YOGA FOR HEALTH with Naomi Guttman & Mary Hunt-Miller

The practice of yoga will help you de-stress, increase your vital energy and enhance your overall health and well being. In this class, you’ll ease your way into gentle, but powerful stretches (called postures) to tone your muscles, increase your overall flexibility and improve the health and resiliency of your back. Appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness. Please bring a mat and a thick Turkish towel or blanket.
ADULT TAP with Mamie Bowdish

An introduction to the basics of tap -- shuffles, flaps and ball changes -- leads to simple combinations set to rhythmic music. A great way to exercise and learn new dance skills in a warm, friendly environment. Little or no previous dance experience required. Comfortable clothing and tap shoes required.

. Ballet dancing is one of the most beneficial forms of physical activity one can do. In keeping a balanced and healthy lifestyle, ballet strengthens essential muscles that are used in everyday life. A fun way to get fit! Little or no previous dance experience required. Comfortable clothing and ballet shoes are required.
