“50 Years of Art,” an extensive exhibition showcasing 28 artists with a dedicated affiliation to the Kirkland Art Center, will be held in the KAC Gallery from November 21 through December 23. The Kirkland Art Center is located at 9 ½ East Park Row, Clinton, NY.
All the artists selected for this exhibition either currently reside or are former residents of Clinton or had a direct working relationship with the KAC. The exhibition, which was created in conjunction with the Kirkland Art Center’s 50^th Anniversary celebration, includes works from two founders of the Kirkland Art Center, several former directors, long-time supporters and local artists.
Artists selected by the Exhibition Committee include: Steve Arnison, Vige Barrie, Tina Betz, Karen Christensen, Frank Cittadino, Howard Chaney, Mary Gaylord, Frank Jacobs, Heidi Jost, Ken Kahn, Pinny Kuckel, Andrée Leidig, John Loy, Ray Martin, Pamela Menotti, Dr. Roger Moore, W. Ralph Murray, William C. Palmer, Paul Parker, James Penney, Sylvia Saunders, Alba Scott, Gail Strout, John Suplee, Lettie Tourville, Joseph Trovato, John von Bergen, and Shirley Waters.
The Kirkland Art Center would like to thank Munson-Williams-Proctor Art Institute for the generous loan of several works for this exhibition.
