Amy Gallatin and Stillwaters
Friday March 21
8 pm
Gen Admission $18 KAC members $15 |
Their style isn't easy to define, you could call it Americana. Amy is at home singing all sorts of musical styles including, cowboy songs, bluegrass or western swing, even blues -- branding each song with soulful sincerity. "I cannot remember the last time I was this awed with a singer, the supporting cast and the instraumental accompaniment. Absolutely a voice as unique as that of Alison Kraus." - Howard Bonner, Wind Gap festival emcee and radio host, Ontario.

April Verch
Friday April 25
8 pm
Gen Admission $18 KAC members $15 |
Another neighbor from the north, April Verch and her group, returns to the KAC. On her last visit, April completely enthralled the audience with her fiddling, singing, delightful personality and incredible dancing...sometimes while playing the fiddle. Infused with both Canadian and Appalachian influences, her fiddle playing and vocals are a sweet mix of old and new and her sense of humor is a bonus.

Laurie MacAllister, Abbie Gardner, and Carolann Solebello first came together to sing and play in the citronella-scented candlelight on a hilltop at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in 2004, and they knew something was really working for them. Now, with two recordings under their belt, this Americana/Roots trio has gone on to perform to adoring crowds at festivals, concert halls and coffeehouses. Welcome to the KAC!

King Wilkie
Friday May 23
8 pm
Gen Admission $18 KAC members $15 |
The band's new ventures are showing a stylistic shift from the totally traditional bluegrass format that they, then in their early twenties, performed the last time they played at the KAC. The six musicians will now showcase their wide range of musical backgrounds on this latest tour. Fiddles, mandolins, stand up bass, guitars, dobros and banjos are still part of the instraumental mix.
