This watercolor class will build on my introductory classes and explore variations of composition and color, with the possibility composing similar pictures from different vantage points (eye level, below eye level or above eye level). Weather permitting we will meet outside at least once during the session. During the course we will discuss a range of techniques: masking fluid, taping, salt and spattering. Each session will include a pre-class discussion of work done between classes, a demo of stylistic techniques, individual attention and critique at the end of class. Students are encouraged to bring any current work. During the first class we will put together a supplies order. |
