Yoga For Wellness

Participants will learn gentle but powerful techniques to enhance posture, flexibility and strength. The use of imagery and mindful awareness of breath makes the practice easy, fun and deeply fulfilling. The focus is on the integration of body, mind and spirit. The intention is to enable students to bring yoga from the classroom into a more grounded lightness of being in their everyday lives. Because each class is designed with the whole person in mind, it is suitable and appropriate for all levels. Unlike recent trends in yoga that strive for a “power workout,” Yoga For Wellness is practiced at a slower, relaxed pace.
